You are required to engage (like & comment) on fellow community members posts each week.

You earn the opportunity to post your content by engaging (like & comment) on other community members post each week. For every 15 comments, you earn the ability to post one of your own content pieces to the community. Earn up to one post per day. Your ability to post is based on the last seven days of your activity. New members must engage with community content before posting their own. At least 24 hours must pass after your engagements to allow the author to review your comments to ensure they meet our community standards.

Unlike other groups, clubs, and communities, there are no posting party scheduled events. When it is convenient for you, log in and be provided with five community posts to engage with. If you are feeling extra creative, you may request more than five each day for a maximum of 15 posts to engage with per day. Our engagement windows are between the hours of 9a - 4p in your time zone.

Most other groups, clubs, and communities will tell you this. And yes it is true if you are trying to go viral you need loads of engagement quickly after your post has been published. You also need continual engagement well beyond the two hour mark for your post to go viral. Our approach is different. Our community is not built to try and make you a famous (or infamous) influencer. Instead, our community values insightful, valuable, and thoughtful comments on our content. There is a lot of value to having these types of comments consistently be added over the period of a week. Think about this. With other groups, clubs, and communities you are telling The LinkedIn Algorithm that you have a bunch of engagement for two hours and then all of a sudden it stops. We think this actually does more harm long-term to your profile and voice on the platform.

There is nothing against community members working together. There are LI Groups that do this informally. For your safety we ban all bots, and automated AI. Our community is made up of real humans who are working together to reach and help their audiences.

Absolutely not. If you are uncomfortable in any way just tap the skip option. We'll select a different post for you. Every member also has the ability to flag and report any post that they feel does not meet our standards for quality content.

One of the four quadrants of your social selling index is based on commenting and engaging with content from other users. By providing insightful and thoughtful comments, you are creating opportunities for conversations with others. When you comment on content that others are engaging with, notifications may appear in your connections accounts directing them to your comments. These are all reasons why unhelpful comments actually hurt your overall profile and reduce your relevancy.

Apart from increasing the likelihood that more of your network will be presented with your post in their feed (increased impressions), there are many benefits from having high quality comments on your posts.

Anyone visiting your profile is able to quickly see your most recent posts along with a total like count and total comment count. The dreaded 'no comments' tells your visitor that your post was not interesting enough for anyone to engage with. By having both likes and comments, your value in the mind of the visitor (your lead) is increased.

By replying to all comments on your posts, you increase your reach both in the feed of your audience and the notifications. Each reply also counts towards the total comments for the post on your profile!

Paid ads will cost you a minimum of $10 per day they run, with limited control over when they run.

Most ads don't receive consistent engagement and don't appear on your profile as organic posts.

This means you still have to post and comment in order for visitors to your profile to view you as a thought leader in your industry.

The Social Selling Index is a score that LinkedIn has created to measure your overall social selling efforts. There are four quadrants to your score, each conveniently tied to your activity on LinkedIn. Use it as a roadmap for how LinkedIn wants you to use their platform. Tap here to learn more.

Why Postinghood

Most people struggle to overcome LinkedIn's Algorithm, resulting in their valuable content and insights going unnoticed.

Our community offers members easy opportunities for insightful commenting and ensures thoughtful engagement on their posts.

When your ideas consistently reach your audience, you establish yourself as a trusted thought leader they rely on for guidance and expertise.

Postinghood™ is not for you if:

  • Trying to become a famous influencer or have expectations that your content will go viral.
  • Trying to become a thought leader overnight.
  • Don’t create valuable, thoughtful, and/or inspiring content.
  • Don’t value or believe in helping others and the power of a strong community.
  • Plan to engage with low value comments like “Thanks”, “Good job”, “Great article”, “Commenting for reach” or the like.
  • Don’t realize that the comments you make directly correlate to how LinkedIn views your relevance.
  • Physically located outside of US or audience is outside of US.
  • Don’t meet our minimum requirements for a quality LinkedIn profile (professional headshot, clear headline, featured section, about section that articulates your why etc.) - if you need help ask us we are happy to.
  • Would rather spend 20-30x more on ads without engagement.
  • Looking for a free trial. We don’t have one.
